Trekking is where Being Backpacker began, and it's still what we do best. From gentle ridge walks to high-altitude climbs, every trail is planned by people who have walked it themselves.
Our trek leaders have grown up in these mountains. They know the trails, the weather, the villages along the way and exactly when to push forward or slow down — so your trek stays safe from the first step to the summit.

Established in 2022, Being Backpacker began in Siliguri, West Bengal — a city surrounded by the incredible landscapes of the Himalayas, tea gardens, forests, rivers, wildlife and culturally rich communities.
Being close to these destinations gave us something valuable: an understanding that travel is not just about reaching a place. It is about understanding the people, respecting the culture and appreciating the environment that makes a destination special.
Today, we create journeys across Darjeeling, Sikkim, North Bengal, Northeast India, destinations across India and selected international destinations.
